Take me Away TumbleRoot | Giveaway!!

Got some pretty exciting news for all you loyal blog readers! We’ve got a GIVEAWAY in the house today. Remember this post, about this print?ย Well the owner of TumbleRoot, the shop I got my print from, has generously decided to donate one of her 8×10 prints for this week’s giveaway! Wooo hoooo, America!

And check out the print that is up for grabs. This lovely, EE Cummings quote (one of my favs…) in an 8×10 print!

I carry your heart

Swoon. Wouldn’t that just look lovely framed in your abode. What a sweet sentiment to send on to a loved one!

Here are all the details on how to enter:

  • Simply comment on the post (scroll to the bottom of the post to comment) and tell me where you’d pop this beauty up if you’re the big winner ๐Ÿ™‚ Are you thinking it’s going up in your bedroom, your kitchen, your living room?
  • The contest will be open 1-week (closing next Wednesday, September 4th). I’ll contact the winner, then!
  • The winner will have the print mailed right on over to them

In addition to the EE Cummings print being given away this week, TumbleRoot has tons of other great finds. How about this guy? Love the black and white contrast. I think that this would look great in a gold frame in a bathroom. Classy, classy.

  1. I love e.e. cummings. I call him my rebel without a comma and I love his love poems. He has some really good ones. I’m still looking for the person this quote could be describing and I’m beginning to think he doesn’t exist. C’est la vie. But I was excited to see you post this.

  2. Cool post, cool artwork. I’d put it nowhere for the time being, since I’m hoping to buy at house at the beginning of next year. Then it would look good pretty much anywhere!

  3. I LOVE it! What a nice giveaway. I would def put this on the wall between our kitchen and living room. Again love it!!!

  4. This is adorable! It would look so good in our master bedroom. We’ve yet to put up anything I’m there yet because we haven’t found the perfect art. This is it!

  5. Loving this!!! And love your blog! It always gives me so many ideas!! Would def put this in our bedroom, and since we’re going nautical (weathered wood, sea glass, ect.) the frame is all too perfect!! If we don’t win, we’re def buying one! ๐Ÿ™‚ Keep up the good work you two!!

  6. Hi!
I saw you post this giveaway on Facebook and came to take a gander. The print is lovely, but more importantly I wanted to comment on your blog in general. Having just bought a 1929 Tudor I loved seeing the many projects you have done in your home. I will be in your very shoes here soon myself, starting tonight with a hole in the ceiling for a leaky shower repair! The future holds many projects for me as well, from gutting a bathroom to redoing the entire basement.

Beautiful home, you can see just how much hard work you have put into it ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Hey, Amanda! Good to hear from you. I saw your house posted on facebook – it is gorgeous! You’ll have to pop up some pics, I’d love to see what you guys do with the place! Congrats on your marriage, too!

  7. I would send it to my hubby who is currently deployed overseas so he knows that i am always thinking about him never go anywhere without him and when he gets back we will put it in our living room of our Home!!!

  8. Eeek! I love all these prints! This one I would put by my doorway to remind me everyday that I carry a precious thing, my love’s heart! ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. I’m new to Lemon Grove, and I already adore your blog! I also adore TumbleRoot (which I where I learned about your blog), this print, and E.E. Cummings!
My little family and I just purchased our first home, this spring, and the print would be the perfect addition to my daughter’s room. After all, it is her heart that I carry within my own!
    Keep up the BEAUTIFUL work!

  10. This piece caught my eye because my fiancรฉ is currently deployed overseas and before he left I gave him a dog tag that says “I carry your heart” with a heart cut out of it, and I have the missing heart around my neck that says “with me” and when he comes home i would love to hang it in our new home come November.

  11. I would hang this up in my college dorm room. I just moved into it, so it doesn’t quite feel like home yet. This would help me make it feel like home.

  12. I absolutely adore ee cummings. My mom writes in lower case letters often inspired by ee, and I write in all lower case all the time as a result. I would not keep this for myself. I would give it to this man who I have loved for years. We recently reconnected and I hope that something good will happen. Regardless, he is terribly important to me, and I would want him to have this from me.
