Lemon Grove Interiors

Y’all, I am SO excited to officially debut something that I’ve been wanting and waiting to do for quite a while. Life has been coming at the Mr. and I pretty fast around here, and with lots of things changing and swirling by, I thought I’d add one more thing to the mix and start providing interior design services! Some of you may have noticed my soft launch last week, when I popped a new “Design Services” tab up on the top menu.

I actually had a few clients reach out to me last week, and I’ve been busy at work putting together lots of fun stuff. (Seriously, I’m pretty sure there isn’t anything more fun than living vicariously through others and putting together styled rooms for them!)

Since I had so much interest in the first week, I wanted to dedicate a post to formally introduce everyone to the service. Right now, I’ve got (2) packages available.

My first few clients opted for the Simple and Sweet package, which cost $25 per board and includes:

  • A custom design board (inspiration board)
  • Specific product recommendations for furniture, art, decor, fabric, accessories, and drapes.
  • Product source list (shopping list)

My first client, Marie, was looking for (4) mood boards since she just moved into a new space. Here is what I came up with for her.

Marie has an amazing etsy shop (link here) and she wanted an awesome office space that was bright, fun and a space ready for some creativity!

She also was looking to have a design board put together for her living room, which is a nice open room that is central to other spaces in her home.

Another room I put together for Marie was a dining nook, right off her kitchen.

For her dining space, I couldn’t resist another Persian rug. Ebay has so many affordable options that are truly gorgeous!

Dining Room Mood Board My other service available is a slightly more advanced product offering, where for $45 I provide:

  • A custom design board (inspiration board)
  • Specific product recommendations for furniture, art, decor, fabric, accessories, and drapes.
  • Product source list (shopping list)
  • A true to scale floor plan illustration (an accurate birds eye view of your new space)
  • Paint color recommendations
  • Tips for incorporating current pieces
  • Specific furniture placement suggestions (as seen in your true to scale floor plan)

Kristin contacted me, and was interested in this service. I had SO much fun putting together her space and I’m seriously considering a few of the elements for my own home 🙂 (Dangerous, right?)

Here is the mood board I put together for Kristin. She had a TV stand and couch that she was looking to incorporate, which are included in my design plan.

Since Kristin’s plan also included a detailed furniture layout, I worked with her space dimensions to place everything and arrange it in a way that optimized flow and the look of the room.

To help with arranging the artwork, I also included a full wall view for each of the art arrangements. Here is what the couch wall looked like.

And here is a view of the console table/TV wall.

In addition to providing the visual pictures of the room layout, I also include a sourcing list for each client, so they can go out there and buy the products, too!

Putting these rooms together for my first few clients has been so much fun, and I’d love to put a room together just for YOU! If you’re interested, you can read all about the different interior design services here.
